PWM

#1 Post by jani » 01 Jun 2010 19:28

Hello
Can anybody say that 18F2420 or 18F2520 has two PWM moduls? I think yes but I am not sure in this.
If hasn't then can anybody offer a small and cheap PIC what has two PWM modul and 28 pin?
Thanks

Hello,

please, look at PIC18F2420 / 2520 pinout:
http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/D ... pdf#page=4
you can see that PWM modules are on:
RC1 - PWM1
RC2 (RB3) - PWM2
Also, on page 141, you can see more about PWM modules.
"PIC18F2420/2520/4420/4520 devices all have two CCP (Capture/Compare/PWM) modules"

Best regards,

Hello Tihomir
Thank you your answer!!
I was in mistake because I didn't understand well this text.

*******************************
In 28-pin devices, the two standard CCP modules (CCP1
and CCP2) operate as described in this chapter. In 40/
44-pin devices, CCP1 is implemented as an Enhanced
CCP module with standard Capture and Compare
modes and Enhanced PWM modes. The ECCP implementation
is discussed in

Thank you your help again.
have a nice day.
