TLX-711A (t6963) LCD problems

#1 Post by m68k » 02 Jan 2009 15:00

Did anyone successfully use the Toshiba TLX-711A (t6963-based) display with MikroC, EasyPIC4 and the parallel 240*64 GLCD adapter?
The display pinout seems compatible with the adapter and providing a negative voltage to the Vee pin I can adjust the contrast, but I can't get anything displayed whatever the PIC used or the demo program loaded.

This one just to bump the topic because I was never able to solve that problem and to tell that some dude is offering them dirt cheap on Ebay (just search for TLX-711 - by the way it's not me, it's not someone I know and those are not my displays).
If some of you buys one and successfully uses it with any EasyPIC board plus the t6963 adapter, please share your experience. Thanks.
