rs 485 help

rs 485 help

I am having two easy pic 5 boards and using 16f877a i need help on communication between master/slave if I press the button in the master i need led lights up in the slave, I try very hard but still cannot achieve help please :roll:

I have problems with RS485 too. I would like to join saravana_3. Somebody, please help us, publish here codes for MASTER and SLAVE, only to turn on and off the LEDs via RS485.

Hi!

Did you try the RS485 examples that we distribute with our mikroC compiler?
You could use those examples as a starting point.
It should be no trouble to adapt it for the 16F877A MCU.

I tried, the Master and the Slave too sends me the packets , but they don´t recieve anything, can somebody hlep me, I want to send from Master to Slave the Command to set PORTB on 255.

Hi!

It would be best if you update your mikroC compiler to PRO version.
That way you'll be able to get full support.
I.e. if you find some bug in the old compiler we won't be able to fix it because we don't give support for older compilers(non-PRO).
If you're registered user you'll get mikroC PRO for PIC compiler's license key free of charge.
