Using the PIC24F43KA302 on a EasyPIC 6

#1 Post by Menelaus » 17 Oct 2014 06:54

Hello guys,

I wan to use a PIC24F43KA302 on a EasyPIC 6.
I know, that the board is not designed for this.
But want to build a adapter board, to having same pinout as a PIC18F.
This PIC24 is 5V tolerant.
Can I use the board to programm this PIC24 , or not?
If not, can i use it, if i connect a external PIckit 3 ?

Best regards.

Hi,

The EasyPIC6 on-board programmer cannot program the PIC24 MCUs.
Since there is no connector for the external programmers, you can make some custom connection on the socket itself and connect it to a programmer of your choice.

Filip.
