USB 18F Firmware V1.20 not found

Hello,

I don't reach to use the PicFlash with windows7 to load my code in the easypic board.

Windows send me a message : USB 18F Firmware V1.20 not found.

Where can I find this driver, please ?

Hello,

the only thing that needs to be set is UAC (User Accounts Control) which prevents writing to config files. Just turn off UAC and it should work just fine.

To turn off UAC, follow the path in your Windows 7 (logged in as Administrator):
Control Panel -> User Accounts and Family Safety -> User Accounts -> Change User Account Control settings and move the slider down to Never notify and click OK

I am having the same problem .. but I'm using Windows Xp Pro hence the above solution is not applicable. What should I do now to install the firmware driver?

I turned off the UAC just as you said on my Windows 7 64bit system but i still cant install the driver. I have a LV24-33V6 board. What do i do know???

From the picture I see that the drivers are not installed properly.
Please reinstall them again.

All you need to do is to install correct drivers, because AVR Flash do not provide an USB driver for development boards.

You have to install the driver corresponding to your operating system, 32 or 64-bit.
Start installation with "Run as administrator".

There you have it. Works 100%.

Try to install driver as administrator: right click -> Run as Administrator.
