Hey Octal, what you want, new, you are going to have to add another zero or two to the price of PoScope

I use a Parallax USB scope that works great and was fairly inexpensive ($127).

I've been drooling over this one, though, in a quest for greater bandwidth
http://www.easysync-ltd.com/index.html?lang=en-uk&target=d3.html Scroll down to their Stingray model... ($229)

Anybody looked into this one/have comments?

Thanks for everyone.
Finally I'm going to order the LogicPort from PCInstruments. It's the best tool for my needs and the price is really not that high.

Regards
octal

This Intronix LogicPort is really a great device. I have one connected through a break out panel to my Explorer16 development board

How do you decode Manchester using the LogicPort? This is something that would be really useful.

The LogicPort is exceptional!

I can bit-bang anything! I discovered many programming issues with timing that I had, then corrected them for speed. The RS232, SPI, I2C translator is great. I can program my own for CAN, 1-Wire, Manchester, and LonWorks (Invensys protocol).

If you can spare the change or save up for this LogicAnalyzer, you will not be dissapointed. I have a USBEE AX and could not get it to work correctly. I will sell it. I also have a Tektronix TDS 210.

Keep programming!

To decode Manchester, just program a simple (slow) loop with delays and use Mikro (basic, pascal, C)Manchester command to evaluate the data.

The LogicPort is an exceptional tool to view and capture data. At slower rates however, you can use any logic analyzer to see the transition pulses.
