Ready for AVR Board is the best solution for fast and simple development of microcontroller applications using 40-pin AVR MCUs. It comes with ATmega16 connected to 8MHz crystal oscillator. It contains four IDC10 headers for all available microcontroller ports, USB-UART module, prototyping area and a power supply circuit. Board is specially designed to fit into special white plastic casing which is sold separately.

Compiler support

Ready for AVR is fully supported by mikroC, mikroBasic and mikroPascal compilers for AVR. Compilers come with dozens of examples that demonstrate every feature of the board.

Programming

Board comes preprogrammed with fast UART bootloader which eliminates the need for external programmers. Board also supports fast USB 2.0 AVRProg™ programmer.

Power supply

On-board power supply regulator is great. It creates stable 5V for the microcontroller. It features standard power connector, and screw terminals for even easier connectivity, but you can also power the board over USB.

All you need to get started: Examples, manuals, and bootloader application. Download examples and load them in your Ready for AVR to see how it works. Examples demonstrate each on-board module and are a great starting point for your future AVR projects.

Examples are written for all mikroE AVR compilers: mikroC, mikroBasic and mikroPascal. They are well commented and each example contains working HEX file which you can load and use right away.

FTDI chip allows your Ready for AVR board to be connected with a PC through USB cable over UART connection.

All microcontroller pins are available through four IDC10 connectors. They enable you to easily attach many peripheral modules.

Casing comes with holes for Power supply and USB cables, but if you need more than that, simply cut out a piece on the side panel and connect it with the rest of your electronics easily.
