Ready for AVR Board is the best solution for fast and simple development of microcontroller applications using 40-pin AVR MCUs. It comes with ATmega16 connected to 8MHz crystal oscillator. It contains four IDC10 headers for all available microcontroller ports, USB-UART module, prototyping area and a power supply circuit. Board is specially designed to fit into special white plastic casing which is sold separately.
Ready for AVR is fully supported by mikroC, mikroBasic and mikroPascal compilers for AVR. Compilers come with dozens of examples that demonstrate every feature of the board.
Board comes preprogrammed with fast UART bootloader which eliminates the need for external programmers. Board also supports fast USB 2.0 AVRProg™ programmer.
On-board power supply regulator is great. It creates stable 5V for the microcontroller. It features standard power connector, and screw terminals for even easier connectivity, but you can also power the board over USB.

On-board DIP40A connection pads enable you to use 40-pin AVR microcontrollers in your Ready for AVR projects. Board comes with ATmega16 microcontroller.
On-board DIP40B connection pads enable you to use 40-pin AVR microcontrollers in your Ready for AVR projects. Board comes with ATmega16 microcontroller.
On-board 8MHz crystal oscillator provides stable external clock to the ATmega16 microcontroller and enables fast UART bootloader baudrates.
FTDI chip allows your Ready for AVR board to be connected with a PC through USB cable over UART connection.
All microcontroller pins are available through four IDC10 connectors. They enable you to easily attach many peripheral modules.
These 3.2mm screw holes are used to mount Ready for AVR firmly into white plastic casing.
These 6mm screw holes are used for enclosing white plastic casing.
Standard power connector is available for providing external power supply to your Ready for AVR board. You can provide 7-23V AC and 9-32V DC.
POWER LED turns on when power supply is brought either using USB cable, or via external power connectors.
