Overview
EasyLV-18F v6 is used to design PIC18J or PIC18K microcontroller-based devices.
On-board USB 2.0 programmer is used to program PIC18FxxJxx and PIC18FxxKxx microcontrollers.
mikroICD is a hardware tool designed for testing and debugging programs on PIC microcontrollers.
Built-in Piezo buzzer is used for emitting audio signals.
Serial COG Display that uses SPI interface is available for displaying text messages.
On-board Touch Screen controller with a Touch Panel connector.
16-bit I/O port expander MCP23S17 that uses SPI communication.
Serial RAM module is used as addtitional memory storage providing fast read/write operations.
Serial EEPROM module is used to store up to 1Kbit of data.
What's On-Board
RS-232 communication with a PC or an MCU is performed via DB9 connector and MAX232 level converter.
System can be configured by means of DIP switches. Each DIP switch configures one part of the system.
On-board voltage regulator is used to reduce power supply voltage from 5V to 3.3V.
The system supports MCUs in DIP40, DIP28 and DIP20 packages. It comes with a PIC18F45K20.
Potentiometer is used for testing multiple A/D conversions. Inputs can be configured via the on-board jumper.
USB or External power supply source is selected by moving a jumper. Power supply switch turns the system on/off.
External ICD Connector is used for connecting external programmer or debugger. Jumpers are used for pin selection.
All MCU pins are connected to the IDC10 connectors for further expansion.
35 LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) are used to indicate the logic state of all microcontroller pins.
On-board jumpers are used for pull-up/pull-down port configuration. These jumpers are available for all pins.
35 push buttons are used to excite microcontroller's digital inputs.
DIP switch is used to separate port pins from pull-up/pull-down resistors.
Very fast, on-board USB 2.0 programmer with mikroICD. There is no need for connecting the external programmer.
LCD can be easily connected to the board via the on-board connector that is also connected to MCU pins.
GLCD Contrast Potentiometer is used for adjusting display contrast.
Touch Screen can be connected to the board via the Touch screen connector. There is also a Touch Screen controller.
USB UART module features the FT232RL interface between a USB device and the microcontroller.
Quartz Crystal is replaceable. The MCU pins can also be configured via jumpers as I/O or OSC pins.
4x4 and Menu keypads allow efficient entry of numeric data and other characters as well.
MCU pins are marked on the back of the board. These marks give basic information on the pins.
Voltage level to be applied when a button is pressed (GND or +3.3V) is selected via the on-board jumper.
USB communication connectors are available for microcontrollers with USB facilities.
Reset circuit is used to reset the microcontroller. It is connected to the MCLR pin of the microcontroller.
Graphic LCD is connected directly to microcontroller pins. Connection is available via pinout connectors.
2x16 Character COG Display is used for displaying text messages. It is connected via SPI.
16-bit I/O port expander MCP23S17 enables you to add more inputs or outputs.
Piezzo Buzzer is capable of emitting audio signals with frequency range between 20Hz and 20Khz.
Serial EEPROM Module 24AA01 uses I2C communication and can store up to 1Kbit of data.
64 Kbit SRAM module 23K640 with SPI interface enables you to add more external RAM to your application device.
Temperature sensor DS1820 measures temperature from -55°C to 125°C.
On-Board Programmer and In-Circuit Debugger

The Windows certificate is a proof that the programmer supports mentioned Windows operating systems and is immediately recognized by the system, which guarantees correct Plug and Play functionality. Driver certification provides users with a wide range of benefits such as stable functioning, the ability to install and delete drivers without rebooting and compatibility with future versions of Windows.

This product is shipped with fully functional demo versions of mikroC PRO for PIC, mikroBasic PRO for PIC and mikroPascal PRO for PIC compilers. All demo versions include a hex output limited to 2k of program words. These compilers come with examples for easy prototype development.
