Very fast, on-board USB 2.0 programmer with a simplified driver installation.
mikroICD is a hardware tool designed for testing and debugging programs on dsPIC30F MCUs.
dsPICPRO4 has a wide range of peripheral modules connected to the microcontroller.
On-board potentiometers are used for testing A/D converter inputs.
dsPICPRO4 includes an on-board touch screen controller with touch panel connector.
What's On-Board
Temperature sensor DS1820 measures temperature from -55°C to 125°C.
External power supply can be DC or AC. There is an on-board jumper used for selecting the external power supply.
ICD2 connector is used for connecting external programmer/debugger.
USB 2.0 programmer with mikroICD support is used for MCU programming and debugging.
Double RS-232 communication with a PC or a microcontroller is performed via DB9 connector.
ENC28J60 is a 28-pin, 10BASE-T stand-alone Ethernet Controller with SPI interface.
67 LEDs are used to indicate the logic state of all microcontroller pins.
Voltage reference used for A/D and D/A converters can be either VCC (5V) or 4.096 V.
CAN module is used to enable communication with other microcontrollers.
Real Time Clock PFC8583 with a battery supply is used to keep track of the current time even when the MCU is off.
RS485 communication module enables the microcontroller to communicate through the 485 network.
All microcontroller pins are connected to the IDC10 connectors for further expansion.
GLCD contrast potentiometer is used for adjusting graphic and standard LCDs.
67 push buttons are used to excite microcontroller digital inputs.
Voltage level to be applied when a button is pressed (GND or +5V) is selected via the on-board jumper.
USB or external power supply source is selected by moving a jumper. Power supply switch turns the system on/off.
System can be easily configured by means of DIP switches. Each DIP switch configures one part of the system.
12-bit output DAC MCP4921 with serial interface is used for applications in measuring and regulating devices.
On-board jumpers are used for pull-up/pull-down port configuration. These jumpers are available for all pins.
Touch Screen can be connected to the board via the touch screen connector.
System supports 64- and 80-pin dsPIC30 MCUs. It comes with a dsPIC30F6014A MCU Card.
MMC\SD card slot enables you to use MMC/SD cards in your work.
Reset circuit is used to reset the microcontroller. It is connected to the MCLR pin of the microcontroller.
2 potentiometers are used for testing multiple A/D conversions. Inputs can be configured via the on-board jumpers.
On-Board Programmer and In-Circuit Debugger

3 in 1 Development System - Development System + On-Board USB 2.0 programmer + On-Board mikroICD (In-Circuit Debugger): mikroICD is a highly effective tool for Real-Time debugging at hardware level. It enables you to execute mikroC, mikroPascal and mikroBasic programs on a host dsPIC30F MCU and monitor variable values, Special Function Registers (SFRs), RAM and EEPROM memory modules while the program is running. There is also an ultra fast USB 2.0 programmer for fast MCU programming that now supports more dsPIC30F MCUs.
Windows® Certified Drivers
Drivers for the on-board programmer are Microsoft® Windows® XP, Windows® Vista and Windows® 7 certified. The Windows certificate is a proof that the programmer supports mentioned Windows operating systems and is immediately recognized by the system, which guarantees correct Plug and Play functionality. Driver certification provides users with a wide range of benefits such as stable functioning, the ability to install and delete drivers without rebooting and compatibility with future versions of Windows.
