Overview
IrDA-To-PC Board is a tool for connecting a PC using Infrared communication.
Board features IrDA encoder/decoder MCP2120 and TFDU4101 diode.
DB9 connector and MAX232 are available for RS-232 communication with a PC.
Description
The IrDA-To-PC Board features a low-cost, high-performance, fully-static infrared encoder/decoder MCP2120 placed between the UART module and an infrared (IR) optical transceiver. The board also includes the TFDU4101 diode and other electronics required for connecting your PC with other IrDA devices. With this module you can easily send and receive data from your PC using IrDA communication. The Irda-To-PC Board is compatible with IrDA2 board and all devices that support the same protocol.
