Overview
LV32MX is a development system that supports a wide range of 64- and 100-pin PIC32MX MCUs.
Very fast, on-board USB 2.0 programmer with a simplified driver installation.
On-board potentiometers are used for testing A/D converter inputs.
LV32MX allows PIC32MX MCUs to be interfaced with a wide range of external circuits.
MMC/SD cards enable you to add mass storage support to your prototype device.
LV32MX contains on-board Touch Screen controller with a Touch Panel connector.
What's On-Board
Double RS-232 communication with a PC or a microcontroller is performed via DB9 connectors.
System can be configured by means of DIP switches. Each DIP switch configures one part of the system.
MMC\SD card slot enables you to use MMC/SD cards in your work.
System supports 64- and 100-pin PIC32MX MCU cards. It comes with a PIC32MX360F256L.
2 potentiometers are used for testing multiple A/D conversions. Inputs can be configured via jumpers.
USB or external power supply source is selected by moving a jumper. Power supply switch turns the system on/off.
3.3 MCU Power Supply provides a more stable work for the microcontroller.
All pins are connected to the IDC10 connectors for further expansion.
85 LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) are used to indicate the logic state of all MCU pins.
On-board jumpers are used for pull-up or pull-down port configuration. They are available for all pins.
85 push buttons are used to excite microcontroller digital inputs. They are connected to all microcontroller pins.
External ICD connector is connected to PGD and PGC microcontroller pins.
Very fast USB 2.0 programmer. There is no need for connecting the external programmer.
LCD can be easily connected to the system via the on-board connector that is also connected to MCU pins.
Digital thermometer DS1820 measures temperature from -55°C to 125°C. It is connected to the system via socket.
Touch Screen can be connected to the board via the Touch screen connector. There is also a Touch Screen controller.
Graphic LCD 128x64 can be easily connected to the system via the on-board connector that is also linked to MCU pins.
Reset circuit is used to reset the microcontroller. It is slao connected to the MCLR pin of the microcontroller.
On-Board PIC32MX Programmer
On-Board USB 2.0 Programmer - PIC32Flash
On-board USB 2.0 programmer PIC32Flash doesn't use bootloader or any similar software for programming. The whole PIC32MX memory and all pins are available to you. This is a fast USB PIC32MX InSystem programmer ideal for your future projects. The PIC32MX Programmer is driven and powered by a single USB port on a PC. No additional AC power adapter is needed. The programmer is recognized by Windows, which simplifies the driver installation. The programmer board is specifically designed for In-Circuit Serial Programming (ICSP).

Windows® Certified Drivers
Drivers for the on-board programmer are Microsoft® Windows® XP, Windows® Vista and Windows® 7 certified. The Windows certificate is a proof that the programmer supports mentioned Windows operating systems and is immediately recognized by the system, which guarantees correct Plug and Play functionality. Driver certification provides users with a wide range of benefits such as stable functioning, the ability to install and delete drivers without rebooting and compatibility with future versions of Windows.

Supported Microcontrollers
The LV32MX development system supports a wide range of PIC32MX microcontrollers. Newly released PIC32MX microcontrollers will be supported by a new version of PIC32Flash software that is updated regularly. Here is a list of microcontrollers supported by LV32MX:

Examples
Examples provided with this development system will show you how to connect the PIC32MX microcontroller with other peripheral components and how to develop your prototype device easily. Each example contains a detailed description of the relevant program including comments. All these examples can be downloaded from this page as well.
- Demonstration of library function for A/D conversion. 10-bit result is displayed on PORTD and PORTF.
- Demonstration of how to use USART library routines.
- Demonstration of using interrupts.
- Demonstration of using TMR1 for interrupts. Program toggles LEDs on PORTB.
