Serial Ethernet PROTO Board is a development tool including Microchip's ENC28J60 - a 28-pin, 10BASE-T stand alone Ethernet Controller with an on-board MAC & PHY, 8 Kbytes of Buffer RAM and SPI serial interface. It is easily connected to standard prototyping boards. This board is ideal choice for both beginners and proffessionals who require reliable and easy-to-use ethernet communication.
Target applications include VoIP, Industrial Automation, Building Automation, Home Control, Security and Instrumentation.
Board is designed to use 3.3V power supply only. Be careful to use voltage translators on communication lines when connecting it to 5V systems.
