SmartMP3 Board

The SmartMP3 Board features a MMC/SD card clot and a single-chip MPEG audio decoder VS1011e. The chip includes a high-performance, low-power DSP processor core VS DSP4, working memory, 5 KiB instruction RAM and 0.5 KiB data RAM for user applications, serial control and input data interfaces, 4 general purpose I/O pins, as well as a high-quality variable-sample-rate stereo DAC, followed by an earphone amplifier and a common buffer. Board can be easily interfaced with your developent board using provided IDC10 connector cables.

Audio Codec Board - PROTO

The Audio Codec Board - PROTO is a development tool for the WM8731 Audio Codec, ideal for use in embedded applications which require audio playback. The on-board Audio Codec WM8731 provides stereo line and mono microphone level audio inputs. This module also uses stereo 24-bit multi-bit sigma delta ADCs and DACs with oversampling digital interpolation and decimation filters. Stereo audio outputs are buffered for driving headphones from a programmable volume control. Line level outputs are also provided along with anti-thump mute and power up/down circuitry. The device is controlled via 2 wire (I2C) or 3 wire (SPI) serial interface.

EasyBuzz Board

The EasyBuzz Board features a Piezo Speaker capable of emitting audio signals. For the piezo buzzer to operate normally it is necessary to generate a voltage signal of specified frequency. Piezo buzzer’s resonant frequency is 3.8kHz (where you can expect it’s best performance), but frequencies ranging between 2kHz and 4kHz can also be used. Buzzer driver can be provided with digital signal, or pulse-width modulated signal, where sound pitch is determined by the PWM frequency, and sound volume can be adjusted by changing PWM duty cycle.

AudioAMP Board

The AudioAMP Board features a power amplifier LM386 designed for use in low-voltage consumer applications. The gain is internally set to 20 to keep external part count low. The gain can be increased up to 200 by adding an external resistor and capacitor between pins 1 and 8.

Microphone AMP Board

The Microphone AMP Board features a microphone connected to a power amplifier LM4864 designed for use in low-voltage consumer applications. The gain is internally set to 20 in order to keep external part count low, but the addition of a potentiometer and capacitor between pins 1 and 8 will increase the gain up to 200.

MP3 Click

MP3 Click is an accessory board in mikroBus™ form factor. It includes a stereo MP3 decoder chip VS1053 which can decode multiple formats (Ogg vorbis, MP3, MP1, MP2, MPEG4, WMA, FLAC, WAW, MIDI), and encode three different formats from microphone in mono or stereo format (Ogg vorbis, IMA ADPCM, 16-bit PCM). Board uses industry-standard Serial Peripheral Interface for communication, and can only use 3.3V power supply. Board features stereo headphone and microphone audio connectors.

Buzz Click

BUZZ Click is an accessory board in mikroBus™ form factor. Board features a piezo speaker capable of emitting audio signals. Buzzer’s resonant frequency is 3.8kHz (where you can expect it’s best performance). On-board buzzer driver is connected to both digital (CS) and to PWM line. You can use either of those two to provide the signal from the microcontroller to the buzzer driver. Board is set to use 5V power supply by default. Solder PWR SEL SMD jumper to 3.3V position if used with 3.3V systems.
