TM2 is a small, light weight and low power consumption module that enables digital communications services on GSM/GPRS networks for machine to machine or user to machine wireless applications. TM2 modules are developed in compliance with internal and normative certification requirements. In particular, they are certified by CE approval report and Radio & Tele Terminal Equipment Directive report. Requirements for lead-free components are imposed and satisfied. The product implements a quad-band MS able to operate in the frequency bands GSM 850 MHz, EGSM 900 MHz, and DCS 1800 MHz and PCS 1900 MH, the dynamic behavior can be configured dynamically by disabling/enabling a specific band e.g. through AT commands. Eventually, the module can be configured either dualband or tri-band or quad-band.
