Microchip PIC development tool
USB programmer on board !!!
System supports the latest 80-pin PIC microcontrollers (it is delivered with PIC18F8520 working at 10MHz). Many ready made examples guarantee successful use of the system.
BIGPIC2 is easy to use Microchip PIC development system. BIGPIC2 has many features that makes your development easy. You can choose between USB or External Power supply. There are also examples for C, BASIC and Pascal compilers.
46 buttons for purposes of program development.
All pin from the bottom of the board are also clearly mark.
Digital thermometer DS1820 for measuring temperature from -55ºC to 125ºC.
USB connector for In- System programming with PIC FLASH programmer.
46 diodes for displaying microcontroller pin states simultaneously.
System can be easily configured via clearly marked dip switches.
All ports can be put in pull-down or in pull-up mode.
Dip switch on port A for separating the analog lines.
All ports can can be set to PULL UP or PULL down resistors via jumpers.
Power supply is flexible 9-15 V (AC or DC). Also you can chose external or USB power supply.
Double RS-232 communication with PC or another microcontroller.
Buttons can be connected to VCC or GND via jumpers.
Two potentiometers for simulation of analog inputs.
Microcontroller board can be replaced. Hi quality contact provide good connection with peripherals.
Potentiometer for LCD contrast.
USB 2.0 on-board programmer - PICFlash2: You will get the USB programmer which doesn't use boot loader or any similar way of programming. The whole PIC memory and all pins are available to you. If you do use boot loader, you have to leave some RAM memory for this propose, and it is generally not a such good idea if you program in Pascal, C or Basic. Also if you use low-level programming (5 VDC instead 12.5 VDC), note that you lose RB6 pin. PICFlash2 have voltage pump and generate 12.5 VDC so you have all pins for your project. Aside from that, you will have state-of-the-art fast USB PIC In-System programmer for your future projects.
